Hello Goodbye!

I am sooooo upset for not being able to see my grandma this Christmas. :( I've made a broken promise to my grandma in her special day. I don't know why this year the traffic is so unbearable. Although I know she was upset too for not having a chance to see her families as she is living by herself in Bandung. My family decided to go to Bandung when there is less traffic jam in the highway. We're going to beat the traffic next weekend long before the new year's eve. Wish us luck! In the mean time, let me browse for some matching outfit to wear when I see my grandma. Before holiday strikes, our Special Education Department managed to hold a Christmas Event for the kids. The event was simple. We arranged potluck party along with the exchange gift. And it was for all the kids, unexceptionally. Our aim was to just make something that every child could attend no matter what. So every child could feel the happiness and togetherness. We decorated our walls with Christmas decorations. Big Santa on the door, the funny reindeers on the cupboard, an angel and Christmas tree in the corner, and ginger cookies and candies on the wall. We also made the socks-a-like-goodie-bags for the kids. We were so happy making all these decorations and goodie-bags. The results were so good made us even happier. Seeing happy faces on our kids faces was all we wanted to see before saying goodbye to let them have a nice Christmas and new year holiday. Well, have a merry little Christmas to those who celebrate..

On Tuesday, our school celebrated Christmas event by having some fun things to do. We exchanged gifts, had potluck, took photos on a photo booth, and watched Frosty The Snowman and Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer. Knowing that Tuesday was the last day of school before Christmas holiday made me kinda sad. I would not be able to meet my special kids for almost a month. I knew I would have missed them all during the holiday. I would miss their laughter, their cutie smile, their chubby cheek, even their fretful behavior. I think it's okay. I'm gonna see them next year and that would be a long-awaited moment. For now, let's have a merry joyful holidaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

This is my last promised of posting the New Year's Eve activities in KL. Hope you all enjoy it. When there were no popular places left to visit, we decided just to wander around Bukit Bintang, try Nasi Lemak in Kampung Baru, and see what's inside of Malls around Bukit Bintang at days. At night, we had dinner at Kopitiam inside fahrenheit and saw what's happening in Twin Tower and Pavilion. It was just too crowded. People were everywhere. We barely could walk. So, we grabbed some beers and snacks, went to the hostel, and celebrated New Year's Eve at the rooftop. :) We had so much talked and drank a lot (err.. actually I couldn't drink more than half of Heineken can hihi). The Japanese boy learned some Holland Spreken, and The Dutch also learned some Japanese language. Me? I was just the girl who watched them attractively and took photos of them and listened to their stories. :p I've come to a decision that in 2013 I must go to Holland and go around Europe. ...

Welcoming December means welcoming Christmas atmosphere. I am personally welcoming the joyfulness, cheerfulness, and colorfulness (regarding Red and Green as Christmas color). I like when all of sudden, how department stores, malls, grocery stores, and bookstores turn into Christmas atmosphere. I like when I have to find some presents for my friends who are celebrating Christmas. And, when I can see so many Christmas Tree all around the corner. And so does the school. Christmas atmosphere is attacking my school. As today, we are having Christmas Party at Special Needs Department. One of the teacher and I made the Christmas Tree (picture seen above). Decorated the window with Christmas accessories and hung the Christmas wreath made with buttons. All were DIY's stuff. Today is dedicated to the togetherness and happiness we share. We're doing exchange gift. Teachers give a present to the students. Otherwise, students bring a present for the tea...
