I'm a fan of Hwang Jung-eum since Kill Me Heal Me hit last year. So I'm pretty much following her work ever since. Reading news about her teaming up with Ryu Joon-yoel for MBC new rom-com excites me. I have no idea of Ryu's work before since I was not interested in Reply's series (Although people said it was a hit. And maybe there's a chance I'm gonna take a look during holiday. Ha!). But I was quite in awe seeing his quirky appearance especially his unusual face, so I got invested in him. It's his eyes that captivates me the most. I have no prior knowledge about its webtoon so I have zero expectation. Since Hwang Jung-eum can play any kind of role (well, mostly Candy type) I give it a try. I like how the show sets the heroine as a smart girlin the first place rather than just a candy type that can't do anything on her own. It's just the circumstances that limits her from shining and owning a happy life. For Ryu Joon-yeol, I guess I'll just hav

A Retired Motorcyclist

I remember when I was a child, we were using public transportation in our daily basis. My parents taught me if I wanted to survive in the city, I must have conquered basic skills of using public transportation. So, I was pretty much used to get in and off angkots, buses, and trains. Once upon a time, my parents was able to own a motorcycle. I was so happy back then that I infrequently took public transportation as they would love to take and pick me up by motorcycle. I had a dream to be the one who was behind the handlebar of motorcycle just because I thought it was the coolest thing to do. Ultimately, I could say that I got my driver license and was the one driving the motorcycle once I grew up. The time I was on the streets, I was so pleased; feeling the breezy wind, seeing people on motions, and being the decision maker of my own path. Until I realized that I was going to retire, in no time. Experiencing falling and getting hit on the streets was one of the main reason I retir

Currently Watching [KDrama - Oh Hae Young Again]

I saw this drama all over the streaming websites but did not have the desire to take a peek into it deeply until one night, when I had enough with works. I decided to take a look. The first 15 minutes was shown beautifully I almost cried. I just knew that sound director existed and it was good to know how he worked on making sound in every movie. The creamy scenes caught my attention the most that I thought I was looking at somebody's dreams. Well, who knows that maybe in the end all of this were just a dream? I have no prior knowledge on both main actors. My korean student told me that Eric was an idol in 1990s. That was quite an understatement because I thought Eric nailed it in delivering Do Kyung's role. While Seo Hyun Jin was as much as quirky as Our Oh Hae Young, which is great. But somehow I saw her as Yoo In-young as they share the same of face line whether it's because of surgery or not. However, I enjoyed the on-going show so far. I'm curious as which pa
